Shipping & Handling

What is TrendStyles's shipping method?

TrendStyles uses PosLaju for all orders. However, TrendStyles will use alternative methods of delivery including but not restricted to Registered Mail/Parcel, Airmail or Courier services if and when such delivery methods are more feasible. In order to offer you the greatest value we strive to keep our shipping and processing charges as low as possible. We are always working to reduce the costs and increase the efficiencies of shipping and processing so that we can continue to charge as little as possible to offset the costs of getting your package to you undamaged, on time, and exactly as you ordered it.

What are the rates?

Shipping and Handling rates on TrendStyles are based on weight and we use PosLaju for all shipment. To cover our handling and packaging costs, all items are rounded up to the closest 0.5kg. Please take a look on below tables:

Will I receive a shipment confirmation of my order?

Once your TrendStyles order has been processed, you will receive an email confirmation for your order. This email will contain details of your order including your order number, product description and amount due. A second email will be sent once your order is ready to be shipped. This email will contain your PosLaju tracking number. To check the status of your package, click on our automated tracking service at http://www.pos.com.my

Does TrendStyles ship to international locations?

TrendStyles welcomes international orders. We ship to international locations via PosLaju or other courier services. Please contact us via email and we will see if we can accommodate your request. For orders shipped to destinations outside of Malaysia, TrendStyles is not responsible for any duties or taxes associated with the shipment.

How long does it take to receive products?

Allow 2-3 business days for your order to reach you, depending on your location. However, many of our items are personalized, customized, or require some special attention. For a good estimate of how long an order will take before it arrives to you, please also add the availability time of the product too. For instance, if the availability time of your item take 2-3 business days and PosLaju take 2 business day delivery, your items should arrive in about 3-4 business days. Remember, Sunday and holidays do not count as business days.

For international orders, it will take at least 3-5 business day and all transit times are subject to customs clearance.

Although much of the time we do send out orders earlier than this, it is a good conservative estimate to assume that your products will arrive in this timeframe. We understand that you are anxious to receive your favors, as we are equally anxious to deliver them to. We appreciate your patience and your business. If you are in a “time crunch” and you need your order rushed, it may be a possibility. Please contact us via email regarding Rush Orders so we can work with you personally.

How do I navigate through the TrendStyles store?

TrendStyles wants you to have a wonderful shopping experience. TrendStyles wants your shopping experience to be easy and fun. Therefore, we feature pictures of our products only. You will find the perfect item or gift for your loved ones at TrendStyles.

How to authenticate genuine Swarovski products?

Swarovski figurines:

1) Only sold at authorised Swarovski counters.
2) Logo = Swan (the bird)
3) Logo not necessarily on all products, only those larger than 30mm will have the logo.
4) Logo is laser etched ON crystal, not on metal parts.
5) There is NO certificate of authenticity except limited edition items.
6) Official receipt by Swarovski Inc.
7) Box by Swarovski Inc.

Swarovski components:

1) Wholesale in boxes of minimum 72 pcs.
2) Logo = Strass (inverted Rectangle)

5) There is NO certificate of authenticity.

What is the difference between crystals marked with AB and without AB?

The crystals marked with AB possess an Aurora Borealis like effect. Aurora borealis is what is known as the luminous phenomena seen as streams of light, visible at night around the North Pole. Swarovski offers an AB coating applied to specific crystals. This coating makes these beads have somewhat of a rainbow effect on top of their base color, say on top of an Emerald colored Swarovski bead. We use crystal AB for all the items.

How do I care my Swarovski crystal bead items?

We recommend washing Swarovski crystal by hand in lukewarm water to which a few drops of a mild dish detergent has been added. Then rinse under running water and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth to avoid spotting and lint spoiling the shine. Under no circumstances should any abrasive or corrosive detergents be used; glass or window-cleaning fluids should also be avoided, as they often cause streaking. When handling your crystal, it is advisable to wear cotton gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints.

Others such as apply your make-up, perfume & hairspray prior to putting on your jewelry. Remove your jewelry before doing any household work or manual labor. Never wear earrings or necklaces when getting hair colored. Store your items in pouches, boxes or zip lock bags and wrap each piece individually (in tissue or cloth) to avoid scratching.

How can I be sure the bead color matches what was shown to me on my computer screen?

We make every effort possible to accurately show the brilliant colors of the Swarovski crystal beads we offer. However, as all computer monitors do have individualized color options/settings, we can not guarantee what you are seeing.

What silver type you are using for those crafted items?

Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver (.925) metal. This standard is used to assure consistent quality among sterling products. Silver that is not described as "sterling" or ".925" has less pure silver content and will often be darker in color and less shiny. Sterling is 92.5% pure instead of 100% pure in order to achieve the requisite hardness and stability to resist wear and tear, and hold its shape.

Do you send printed catalogues?

TrendStyles does not carry a print catalog at the moment. We feature all of our products on our website and are available online 24 hours a day for your browsing pleasure. Please visit our website to view our selection of unique and high quality items.

What are my payment options?

Currently, we do not accept payments through credit card online but this will be put into service soon. You can pay us by cash, bank in, cash deposit and direct transfer (TT) to us. All orders paid by shall be processed and shipped once payment has been received.

What is the currency for all prices?

All prices listed on our TrendStyles's website are quoted in Malaysia Ringgit (MYR). Please note that there may be duty, brokerage fees, and taxes that will be collected upon delivery. These fees are not included in the shipping price that you will be billed for through our website.

What is TrendStyles's pricing & discount policy?

TrendStyles prices are extremely competitive with those of other retailers in the industry. However, what distinguishes TrendStyles is our unique concept designs and attention to detail. For inquiries regarding product bulk pricing, please contact us through our feedback form.

What is your pricing policy?

Due to the fact that many of our products are very unique and custom made, you may find that you will not find some of these items in other stores. If you do find an item on another website that is advertised as having a lower price, we do offer price matching. We will match the price of a competitor if:

a) The product is the exact same item and using same materials from the same manufacturer
b) We will charge the same shipping fees as the competitor (within Malaysia only)

How do I make a purchase?

Press order form button. Navigate to the product you are interested in purchasing to view the product code, then once you have entered all the details information such as name, address, product code & etc on the order form, press submit and that’s it. We will notify you the payment details in no time.

Is there any minimum quantity?

TrendStyles does not has a minimum order requirement for most products on our website. You are welcome to place an order in any quantity.

What is TrendStyle's product availability?

We carries most of the products featured on our website. On occasion, products may be backordered, and we will let you know. Usually, it takes 2-3 extra days for us to order the required crystal bead. For bracelet, necklace, earring and set, when you purchase those item from us you can be sure that it will be made at the time of your order to YOUR specifications. We do not mass produce ANY of our handcrafted products.

What if I still not receive my item yet?

If your shipping is missing or if you face any problems with your order, please contact us and we will look into the matter immediately. Please indicate your order number whenever you are communicating with us regarding an order.

Can I cancel an order?

Cancellations must be made within 12 hours after it is received by cindyloo.com. Many times we ship orders so quickly (during the same day) that it is not possible to cancel your order. In such a case, you will have to return your order to us following our return policy and procedure. It is in our customers' interest that we ship our items as fast as we do. If we haven't shipped your order yet, or we have not already started working on it, it may be possible to change your order. Please contact us via e-mail to make such requests.

Can I advertise on TrendStyles's website?

This is first Swarovski concept design store in Malaysia and interested advertisers should contact us.

Is there any out of stock items in your store?

If an item is listed as being backordered or out of stock, you may still be able to preorder it. Place an order for the item as you normally would. Once we have the item in stock, we will fill your order and ship the goods out to you. If there is a further delay, we will try to contact you to let you know.

Do TrendStyles offer any gift wrap?

All orders are include our complimentary FREE gift box. Note: The free white gift boxes do not come with any wholesale items.

What is a coupon code? How do I get one?

At times we have special sales for our regular customers to reward them for their continuing business. We e-mail coupons online from time to time to customers who have opted-in to our newsletter. If you would like to sign up for our e-mail newsletter, please state on our feedback form.

How do I use a coupon code?

There will be an optional place for you to enter a coupon code in our order form. Simply enter your coupon code and proceed with your order.

How about gift certificates?

Gift certificates are the perfect solution when you just can't find the right gift or you're short of time. Gift Certificates make a perfect present for that Busy Bride, the Prom attendee or any woman who apprecieates hand crafted swarovski!

Custom Design

Can TrendStyles custom design a bracelet, necklace or earrings for my event?

Yes. We provide such service. After each item is personalized, it goes to our meticulous quality control that make sure everything is exactly as you ordered and post (upload) to our website for you to view the item. Then we will carefully package your items and get them ready for shipment.

What makes your jewelry "custom"?

We make alterations to suit your individual preferences. Preferences such as reducing the number of beads of color, adding a drop, eliminating a drop, using a different bead size, changing the length of earring designs can be easily made. We custom make our necklaces and bracelets to any length required for you and each member of your party, ensuring a comfortable fit.

Can I request other color for any item?

Yes. For instance, you might prefer pink color than a aqua color for an item. We will replace with the color you requested. Usually, it will take couple of extra days as the color might be backordered.

Measurement

What is your bracelets standard size?

Most people feel most comfortable with a bracelet 6.4 inches to 6.6 inches long including the claps. This size hangs over the upper part of the hand, which is usually the most attractive position.

How to measure my wrist for bracelet size?

Ordering bracelets is much easier if you know your correct wrist size. When you order a bracelet from us, we want it to fit you properly. These simple instructions tell you how to measure your wrist properly so you can be sure your bracelets will fit right and not too lose.

To determine bracelet size using a flexible measuring tape, measure just above the wrist bone (see image). From this measurement, we will add any additional length to the bracelet necessary for the clasp and will counter for the size of the beads in the design you have chosen. That is the size bracelet you would wear. This is approximate sizing and not a guarantee of perfect sizing.

Is there any extra charge for bracelet longer than standard size?

Yes we do but there we also provide a free option. To avoid resizing and additional charges; please, please, measure before ordering. We realize many times our bracelets are given as gifts but it is costly on your part not to measure. If actual measuring is not possible, find a bracelet that fits her nicely and measure it from end to end including the clasp. This is not as accurate as our recommended method above so please keep in mind we do charge to resize your bracelet if it does not fit. It takes us just as long to restring the second time as the first. If you have any concerns about our policies, please email our studio.

Buying for someone else?

Most average women and teens wear our standard size. If this bracelet is a gift for an adult or young lady, and you don't know wrist size, we would consider 6.05” as petite, 6.45 as standard, 6.85 as medium and 7.25 as large. We highly recommend you borrow your friend's watch or bracelet and measure it for an approximate fit before you place an order. We understand that you may wish this to be a surprise, however please keep in mind that it takes the same amount of time to restring a design as it does to put it together the first time. Often, it takes longer if we have to re-design the piece in order to adjust for extra length and additional charges may apply.

Is there any resizing / restringing charges?

As a courtesy to our customers, we offer to restring most bracelet and necklace designs should you desire a larger or smaller size on a complimentary basis at the time of the order. Once the order has been placed, additional resizing is available for a nominal fee. For instance, if the item is shipped back to us, customer has to pay our resizing fees plus shipping fees for return too.

We have been serving since 2004 when our first major is homemade Chinese New Year cookies & Moon Cake. In 2006, we plan to start another production based on Swarovski crystal bead collection that’s how TrendStyles born. We think website brought one more way for people to see our extensive selection of upscale unique and special collections. Wholesale Information

We will be happy to provide wholesale services for all of our products. To become a wholesale customer we will need at least monthly volume RM500. All inquiries may be sent to order@cindyloo.com Wholesale purchases are not refundable and any merchandise damaged in shipment may be returned for a replacement or store credit only.
